Job description

Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a Locum Tenens MD/DO BC OBGYN for coverage in Ahoskie, NC starting ASAP.

Schedule:

1. 24-hour call coverage needed as soon as credentialed.
2. Two weekends a month hospital coverage only (Friday 7am to Monday 7am) through end of year and January/February/March 2025.
3. Beginning January, 2 weeks per month for both clinic and hospital coverage.

Clinic Hours:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, last patient at 4:00pm.
• Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, last patient at 3:00pm.

Hospital Coverage:

• Inpatient only.
• Support from nearby James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital including pediatric transport.
• Hospital details: 114-bed, average inpatient census 2, average admissions per day 1, no ICU responsibilities, no response to codes.

Certifications & Requirements:

• ALSO certification (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) required within 6 months if planning long-term stay.
• NRP certification required if planning to stay 6 months or longer.
• Evidence of completion of the AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years.

EPIC EMR system.
