Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks qualified OB/GYN locum tenens physicians for inpatient coverage in a hospital setting.

Shifts are 24-hour call with a minimum of 10 shifts per month; duties include rounding, deliveries (vaginal and Cesarean), fetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and Level I screening. We seek 2–3 providers for long-term coverage; compensation ranges $150–$225 per hour plus travel and housing.

Qualifications

Job description

This role involves providing locum tenens coverage in an inpatient OB/GYN department with 24-hour call shifts and a minimum of 10 shifts per month.

Responsibilities include managing approximately 5 patients per shift, performing rounding, low & high risk pregnancy care, vaginal & C-section deliveries, and conducting FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and Level I screening.

Additionally, the provider will perform surgical GYN procedures such as open surgeries, IUD insertions, colposcopy, LEEP, and cystoscopy.

The position seeks 2-3 providers for consistent long-term coverage.

Qualifications include relevant skills in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in surgical procedures and ultrasound interpretation.

Compensation ranges from $150 to $225 per hour, including base pay, overtime, call, and holiday pay.
