Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St. James Healthcare in Butte, MT seeks an Ob/Gyn to join a busy team of three OB/GYNs, one APP, and specialists. The role offers a substantial compensation package including a $366,000 base plus production incentive and a $35,000 signing bonus.

Eligible for PSLF with student loan repayment up to $100,000. Flexible schedules and relocation/travel support are available. Candidates must hold an MD/DO with OB/GYN training and Montana licensure.

• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Montana medical license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing process

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and perform emergency C-sections
• Provide in-hospital patient rounds and obstetric care

Job description

Full-time - 120 Clinic Shifts per year / 168 call shifts per year.

Position Highlights

• Compensation: $366,000 + total package with production incentive
• Incentives: $35,000 starting bonus, up to $100,000 student loan repayment (PSLF eligible)
• Practice Setting: 98‑bed Level III Trauma Center. We have Life Flight services available 24‑7‑365 to receive & transport patients as needed. We offer comprehensive, specialty care, including a da Vinci Robotics surgery.
• Schedule: Potential for a flexible schedule, with options for a two‑week on/two‑week off model or a one‑week on/one‑week off model.
• Team: Work alongside three experienced OBGYNs, one APP and four MFMs and one Gynecologic Oncologist
• Call: Manageable call schedule with team support. 24 hours in the hospital (attend deliveries, perform emergency C‑sections, round on patients, etc.)
• Travel Stipend: $2,000.00 per month
• Mentorship: Collaborative group with excellent team dynamic

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
• Passion for Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Experience preferred
