Pomelo Care is seeking a skilled NP or CNM with obstetrics background to provide direct patient care and clinical oversight for pregnant people and newborns. The role emphasizes population-based implementation of evidence-based care and improving outcomes across empaneled patients.

In this role you will oversee medical care, review complex cases, develop care plans, and lead development of obstetric and women’s health protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have active compact RN license.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an APP.
• Extensive obstetric experience, including treating high-risk patients, as well as some experience caring for infants.
• A passion for and demonstrated effectiveness in optimizing evidence-based care and perinatal outcomes.
• Experience using data to drive patient engagement, activation, and outcomes.
• Experience leading successful teams, with track record of outstanding collaboration and teamwork.
• A growth mindset with the ability to approach process changes with enthusiasm, creativity, and accountability.

Role Description

Your North Star: Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight that optimizes outcomes for pregnant people and newborns through population-based implementation of evidence-based care.

In this role you will:

• Phenomenal interpersonal and communication skills

Education and training

• NP or CNM with significant experience in obstetrics and some experience in infant care

Bonus points for

• Telehealth and/or remote monitoring experience

• Experience in outpatient or home-based management of higher-risk patients

Schedule

• 3x12s (rotating weekdays), 11am - 11pm ET

• At 36 hours per week, this role is considered 0.9 FTE

Compensation:

• Base + Equity: The expected base salary range offered for this 0.9 FTE role is $110,000 - 121,500 annually. This role is also eligible for equity, giving you an ownership stake in Pomelo’s mission. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
