RESIDENCY PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Northwell Health – Northern Westchester Hospital

Mount Kisco, NY

Northwell Health’s Department of OB/GYN is seeking a Residency Program Director to help establish Northern Westchester Hospital’s training program in Mount Kisco, New York. We are looking for candidates with excellent clinical and managerial skills, with at least 5 years out of residency. Preference will be given to those with at least three (3) years’ leadership experience in OB/GYN residency education (such as Associate Program Director or Program Director). The candidate will oversee the program to ensure compliance with ACGME, RRC, and ABOG standards, manage educational quality, and supervise recruitment, budgeting, and performance evaluation. The role also involves participating in the institutional GME committee and supervising trainees.

This leadership role requires collaboration with hospital and health system leaders to meet clinical, operational, and financial goals. The program offers advanced training in hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology, emphasizing patient safety, clinical and surgical skills, and healthcare systems training across academic and community settings. Trainees benefit from experienced faculty in various OB-GYN specialties and opportunities to present research at national conferences.

Northern Westchester Hospital provides comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies, including Level III NICU services, and collaborates with pediatric specialists at Cohen Children’s Medical Center for complex fetal conditions. The department is recognized for excellence in clinical care, research, and education, offering services like high-risk pregnancy consultation, perinatal ultrasound, and prenatal diagnosis.
