Overview

Carle Health is seeking a full-service BE/BC Obstetrician and Gynecologist physician to join our established and busy practice in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

1. Established multi-specialty practice including 13 BC/BE OB/GYNs, 6 OB Hospitalists, 12 Midwives, 8 Advanced Practice Providers
2. 24-hour in-house call coverage with 3 physicians (2 general OB/GYNs and 1 hospitalist) and 1 CNM; monthly call varies from 4 to 8 shifts
3. Admit to only Carle Foundation Hospital
4. 24-hour dedicated Labor & Delivery anesthesia coverage
5. State-of-the-art, family-oriented L&D unit with 5 private triage rooms, 2 Jacuzzi suites, and 7 fully-equipped LDRs
6. Facilities include 3 OBED bays, 8 delivery rooms, 3 operating rooms, and 4 antepartum/triage rooms
7. Support from 5 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians with 24/7 coverage on a dedicated antepartum unit
8. Additional obstetric services: Fetal Care Center, 5 lactation consultants, Centering Pregnancy program
9. Staffed by 5 Neonatologists with 24/7 in-house Neonatology coverage and 48 NICU beds
10. On-site Women's Health subspecialties including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Reproductive Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology
11. Academic and research affiliation with Carle Illinois College of Medicine
12. Participation in OB/GYN Residency Program, with involvement tailored to the attending's interest
13. Magnet designation for nursing excellence

Consideration will be given to candidates desiring balanced OB/GYN, OB dominant, and OB only roles.

Compensation and Benefits
