Job summary

Carle Health in Peoria, IL seeks a BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a growing practice. The role includes inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, outpatient OB/GYN care, and gynecologic surgery with Da Vinci robot access.

You will provide coverage one day per week inpatient, at least two days outpatient, and at least one day for gynecologic surgery per week, with limited weekend call and a weekly admin day.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible OB/GYN with strong gynecologic surgery skills.
• Experience across inpatient obstetrics, outpatient OB/GYN, and surgical care.
• Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care and coverage (1 day per week).
• Deliver outpatient OB/GYN care (at least 2 days per week) and perform gynecologic surgeries (at least 1 day per week).
• Participate in limited weekend call and a weekly admin day.

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our growing practice in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Our growing practice includes additional OB/GYN physicians, OB/GYN Advanced Practice Providers, and dedicated support staff.
• Practice will consist of inpatient Obstetrical and Gynecological care and coverage (1 day per week), outpatient OB/GYN care (at least 2 days per week), and Gynecological Surgery (at least 1 day per week).
• Limited weekend call and weekly admin day.
• Experience in hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and vaginal surgeries.
• Urogynecology care experience appreciated, but not required: urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fetal incontinence, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, vaginal atrophy, pelvic floor muscle weakness.
• Gynecology care including endometriosis and fibroids.
• Clinic will be located on the Carle Health Proctor Hospital campus; Carle Health Proctor Hospital is a 210‑bed hospital that has been providing care for the Peoria community for over 60 years.
• Deliveries take place at Methodist Hospital, a 349‑bed level II Trauma Center that has been ranked #23 in the state of Illinois for patient outcomes.
• Da Vinci robot access.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $471,000 - $480,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
