Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our Peoria practice. This PRN role will support inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, including deliveries, in a mutually supportive team environment with 24/7 neonatology on site.

Block scheduling or scheduling flexibility is available; the practice operates within the Carle Health system and Epic EMR for integrated care.

Qualifications

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology or BE/BC status.
• Inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care and deliveries experience preferred.
• Ability to participate in block scheduling or flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care and deliveries.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to coordinate labor and delivery coverage.
• Support 24/7 neonatology services on site.

Opportunity Details

• PRN position
• Join our growing practice of 4 OB Hospitalists, 3 additional OB/GYN physicians, 2 OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife, and dedicated support staff
• Our OB Hospitalists provide 24-hour coverage in moderately busy labor and delivery unit at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
• Comfortable overnight accommodations located on labor and delivery floor.
• Practice will consist of inpatient Obstetrical and Gynecological care and deliveries.
• Block scheduling or scheduling flexibility based on candidate availability.
• 24/7 Neonatologist located on site.
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR.

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation for this position is $250/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
