Position Overview

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in Spartanburg, SC is seeking OB Hospitalists to join a new and expanding program. The OB Hospitalist will provide emergency, unassigned, and OBED call coverage, assist with private OBGYN deliveries, and manage GYN emergencies. Private OBGYNs will oversee their own post-op patients. New residents are encouraged to apply.

Highlights of the Opportunity

• Busy 14-bed L&D unit with over 3,500 deliveries annually and 12,000 OBED encounters
• New OBGYN residency program starting in 2025; will supervise residents
• Attend all deliveries, cover the 6-bed OB ED – 2 physicians in house per night
• 12 shifts per 4-week cycle; 7 pm – 7 am
• In-house anesthesia, Level III NICU with 24-hour coverage, MFM available
• Compensation includes: $6,000 CME allowance, attractive retirement options, relocation expenses, sign-on bonus
• Approved PSLF institution
