AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician for locum tenens coverage in Minnesota. The schedule includes August 10, 2026 onward, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with call obligations and weekend coverage.

Credentialing typically takes 30–60 days and emergency privileges may be available. The role involves care for low and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, fetal monitoring interpretation, and gynecologic surgery.

Qualifications

• Licensure in Minnesota or eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a clinic with hospital and call coverage.
• EMR: Epic proficiency assumed or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics and gynecology care for low and high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed.
• Interpret fetal heart monitoring and manage gynecologic surgeries.
• Attend on-site clinic and hospital call coverage as assigned.

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: August 10, 2026, ongoing; 1–2 weeks per month. Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 2 nights of call per week, weekend call Saturday 8:00 AM–Monday 8:00 AM. Additional call-only weekends: September 19–20, October 31–November 1, December 24–27.

Practice Setting: Clinic with hospital and call coverage

Types of Cases: Obstetrics and gynecology, low and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, fetal heart monitoring interpretation, gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic and major gynecologic procedures

Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days; emergency privileges available for clean providers

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support

Licensure Required: Minnesota license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact candidate
