Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support in Worthington, MN. Start ASAP with ongoing assignments, typically 1–2 weeks per month, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, plus call requirements.

Responsibilities include managing obstetric and gynecologic cases, including high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and FHM interpretation within a clinic/hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Certifications required include ACLS and BLS.
• State medical licensure is required (Minnesota or IMLC).
• Experience withEpic EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN physician services per schedule: August 10, 2026 onward; 1–2 weeks per month.
• Clinic with hospital and call coverage.
• Perform obstetrics/gynecology procedures including vaginal deliveries and cesareans.
• Handle high- and low-risk pregnancies with fetal monitoring.
• Complete credentialing within 30–60 days and secure emergency privileges if needed.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: August 10, 2026, ongoing; 1–2 weeks per month. Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 2 nights of call per week, weekend call Saturday 8:00 AM–Monday 8:00 AM. Additional call-only weekends: September 19–20, October 31–November 1, December 24–27.

Practice Setting: Clinic with hospital and call coverage

Types of Cases: Obstetrics and gynecology, low and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, fetal heart monitoring interpretation, gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic and major gynecologic procedures

Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days; emergency privileges available for clean providers

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support

Licensure Required: Minnesota license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact candidate
