Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for locum tenens support in Minnesota. The role features 1–2 weeks per month, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with on-call duties, and a fast credentialing window (30–60 days).

Required are Minnesota licensure or IMLCC candidacy, and ACLS/BLS certifications. The practice includes high-risk pregnancies, deliveries, and gynecologic surgery, with Epic EMR in use.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota medical license or IMLCC candidate
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology including high-risk pregnancies and deliveries

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care including high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Support scheduled shifts Aug 10, 2026 onward with 1–2 weeks per month, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and call coverage.
• Coordinate patient care within a clinic with hospital call coverage and fast credentialing (30–60 days).

Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician – Start date ASAP. Pay rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements

• Schedule: August 10, 2026, ongoing; 1–2 weeks per month. Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 2 nights of call per week, weekend call Saturday 8:00 AM–Monday 8:00 AM. Additional call-only weekends: September 19–20, October 31–November 1, December 24–27.
• Practice Setting: Clinic with hospital and call coverage
• Types of Cases: Obstetrics and gynecology, low and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, fetal heart monitoring interpretation, gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic and major gynecologic procedures
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days; emergency privileges available for clean providers
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support
• Licensure Required: Minnesota license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact candidate
