Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for locum tenens support. The role combines clinic and surgery days with a mix of 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts, credentialing ~60 days, and EMR Athena usage.

The candidate must be board-certified in OB/GYN with an Oregon license or DEA, and be able to work in a clinic and surgical setting; malpractice insurance is provided through AMN. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with current licensure in Oregon.
• DEA license required for prescribing controlled substances.
• Experience with EMR systems and obstetric/gynecologic procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum OB/GYN care in clinic and surgery settings.
• Perform EMB, colposcopy, and IUD placements, among routine gynecology procedures.
• Coordinate care with midwives and nurse practitioners; support surgical teams.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and Requirements for this Opportunity

• Schedule: Mix of clinic and surgery days, 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts
• Practice Setting: Clinic and surgery
• Types of Cases: Routine Gynecology care including, Endometrial biopsies (EMB), Colposcopy, intrauterine device (IUD) placement and Physician support for midwives and nurse practitioners. Full spectrum Obstetrics and Gynecology surgery.
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~ 60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Athena
• Certifications Required: Board Certification
• Licensure Required: Must have Oregon license or Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
