Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician for locum tenens coverage in Indiana. The assignment starts ASAP with 24-hour call shifts, typically from 7:00 PM to 7:00 PM, including specific dates in spring and early summer. Reponsibilities include C-sections, Labor & Delivery support, inpatient OB/GYN care, and transfers as needed.

Credentialing is 60-90 days. ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN care including C-sections and labor/delivery support.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, typically 7:00 PM to 7:00 PM; coverage needed April 27 at 7:00 PM through May 1 at 7:00 PM and June 1 at 7:00 PM through June 5 at 7:00 PM
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases: Cesarean section (C-section) coverage, Labor & Delivery support, inpatient OB/GYN care, unassigned patient coverage, consultations, and transfers to higher level of care as needed
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Licensure Required: Active Indiana medical license
• Board Certification Required: Yes
