Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for locum tenens coverage in Lafayette, IN. Start date ASAP with ongoing 12-hour and 24-hour in-house call shifts to support inpatient obstetrics, gynecology, labor and delivery, and ED consultations.

Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days; active Indiana license and hospital privileges are required. Cerner EMR used; board-certified candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN physician required.
• Active medical license in the state with hospital privileges.
• Board certification in obstetrics/gynecology required.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics and gynecology care in inpatient setting.
• Cover 12-hour in-house call shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 AM).
• Manage obstetrical/gynecologic patients, labor and delivery, ED consultations, admissions and inpatient care.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 12-hour in-house call shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); Friday–Sunday: 24-hour in-house call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM); Ongoing coverage beginning 01/01/2027

• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases: Obstetrical patients, gynecologic patients, labor and delivery, Emergency Department consultations, admissions, inpatient care, and possible clinic coverage
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Certifications Required: Board Certified
• Licensure Required: Active state medical license required; hospital privileges required
