Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support. The role involves 24-hour call shifts starting at 7a with no clinic duties, focusing on emergency obstetric care.

The ideal candidate will manage labor, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and obstetric emergencies using Epic EMR, with support from certified nurse midwives and advanced practice providers. Licensure inquiries and temporary credentialing will be arranged.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in SC or ability to obtain quickly.
• Board certified in OB/GYN.
• ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required.
• Experience with obstetric labor, deliveries, and C-sections.
• Proficient in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage starting at 7a, including emergencies.
• Manage labor and vaginal deliveries and perform C-sections.
• Interpret fetal monitoring and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Collaborate with CNMs and other AP providers.
• Coordinate care within Epic EMR system.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24 hour call starting at 7a ; willneed to cover Emergencies, no Clinic
• Total census per provider per shift: TBD
• Procedures required: labor management, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, obstetric emergencies, fetal monitoring interpretation, and gynecologic emergency consultation
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Support: Certified nurse midwives, and advanced practice providers supporting maternity services
• Certifications and license required: (State, BC, ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS) TBD
• Credentialing timeframe: Will request temps
