Job summary

Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC is seeking an Obstetrician Gynecologist to lead the establishment of a new block schedule and to provide care across inpatient deliveries and clinic settings. The role includes a 7 on / 7 off pattern with shared weekday call and CNMs handling first calls.

The practice features a full team including CNMs and NPs, with strong hospital ties to Duke for MFM, a Level I Nursery, and DaVinci robotic access for advanced procedures.

Position Detail

• Join a hospital employed and established group to help spearhead the development of a new block schedule

• Work 7 on / 7 off covering a mix of inpatient deliveries/surgeries and seeing clinic patients

• Current program composed of:

  • 1 Full time OB/GYN
  • 1 PRN OB/GYN
  • 2 Full time CNMs and 2 NPs
  • Full office support

• Standard clinic hours and shared weekday call, CNMs take first call

• Average 20-25 clinic patients per day and 420 deliveries per year

• Office has: Pessary fitting supplies, Colposcope, two procedure rooms, full supply of instruments for in-office procedures, M-Modal for dictation, Athena and Paragon EMR, point of care testing, LEEP equipment and ultrasound

• daVinci Robot access

• Direct referrals in place with Duke University for MFM and other specialties, hospital has Level I Nursery

• One hospital coverage only for Maria Parham Health - located in Henderson (45min from Wake Forest, NC)
