Job Title: Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Laborist
Emanate Health Medical Group with Emanate Health System is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist/Laborist who shares the same values and commitment to our patients as the rest of our medical staff and team. Emanate Health serves the San Gabriel Valley located in West Covina, California. The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Hospitalist/Laborist is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing, and monitoring diseases and providing general care to women within the acute setting.
Job Summary:
The OB/GYN Hospitalist/Laborist is an employed physician who works in the inpatient setting with a team of Hospitalist/Laborists and works in-house. Provides efficient, cost-effective obstetrical care and gynecological care using evidence-based medicine. Evaluates patients in triage on Labor & Delivery or Emergency Department admitting patients when needed. Manages and delivers obstetrical patients. Assists with C-Sections and other surgeries. Rounds on hospitalized, antepartum, and post-operative patients. Provides both inpatient and emergency department consultations. Covers all Emergency Room call coverage for OB/GYN when on shift as well as obstetrical and gynecological patient triage and care management.
