Job summary

Nectar Locums LLC is seeking an OB/GYN provider to cover labor and deliveries, including vaginal and C-section births, and obstetric emergencies at a 260-bed hospital with a Level 2 nursery and about 1,500 births per year in Kentucky.

The assignment involves 12 shifts per month, with 12- or 24-hour blocks (7a-7p and 7p-7a). You will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive obstetric care and educate patients on prenatal and postpartum health.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and deliveries, including vaginal and C-section deliveries, and obstetric emergencies
• Provide inpatient triage, OB/GYN consultations, and surgical interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients on prenatal/postpartum care and women’s health
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices

Job description

Coverage: This role supports labor and delivery, inpatient OB/GYN care, consultations, surgical interventions, and obstetric emergencies in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Facility: 260-bed hospital with Level 2 nursery and approximately 1,500 births/year

Scheduling

Seeking a provider who can cover around 12 shifts per month. We will have more shifts available on some months but our true range is 8 minimum for a submission.
