Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX seeks a Certified Surgical Tech PRN Labor and Delivery to join a collaborative obstetric team and support the newborn care mission. You will prepare the OR, assist during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and provide patient-centered care with on-call flexibility.

The role emphasizes training, mentorship, and growth pathways within a leading HCA Healthcare facility in a center renowned for women’s services and NICU care.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED is required.
• (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly.
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
