Job summary

Brigham City Community Hospital in Utah is seeking an Obstetric Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech OB) to support newborn deliveries. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist with procedures, and help ensure compassionate, patient-centered care in obstetrics and surgery.

The role offers access to training and mentorship, predictable scheduling with on-call support, and clear pathways for growth as you advance in obstetric surgery and broader clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant required
• Scrub Tech experience required

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
