Job summary

Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele, UT, is seeking an OB Tech for Labor & Delivery on a full-time basis. Role includes setup for deliveries, instrument prep, and assisting in cesarean procedures within the obstetrics department.

The candidate must hold a Utah CNA certificate with BLS; NRP within 90 days, and STABLE preferred. Prior obstetrics experience is beneficial, with duties spanning patient care and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Current Utah Certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP certification required within 90 days of hire.
• STABLE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up for deliveries for new mother and baby.
• Prepare instruments and equipment for deliveries, cesareans and other obstetrics procedures.
• Assemble surgical trays and sterile tables; assist with gowning and gloving; scrub for cesareans.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness in the obstetrics department.
• Admit, schedule appointments, file paperwork, maintain records, and process insurance information.

Job Summary:

• Set up for deliveries for new mother and baby.
