Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during obstetrical operations in the OR and Labor and Delivery unit.
• Maintain quality patient care and sterile field; anticipate surgeon needs.
• Perform patient care duties under RN direction.

Education

H.S. Diploma or GED

Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program

1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist

3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting
