Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a board certified/eligible Obstetric Hospitalist to join our team in Freeport, Illinois. This full-time, hospital-employed position is 100% inpatient, with eight 24-hour shifts per month, covering labor and delivery including C-sections, inpatient rounding and discharging.

You will work with our Northwest Regional Perinatal Center and Level III NICU in Rockford. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, relocation assistance, CME and licensure dues, malpractice and tail

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
• Must have at least three years of inpatient experience
• MD/DO board certified/board eligible
• Skilled at providing exceptional care
• The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Cover labor and delivery including C-sections
• Inpatient rounding and discharging
• Eight 24-hour shifts per month
• 100% inpatient
• Partner with our Northwest Regional Perinatal Center and Level III NICU in Rockford, IL.
