Job summary

Gonzaba Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care in a clinic setting. You will assess, plan, provide, and evaluate care in collaboration with patients and families, using an observation-unit model.

The role requires TX RN licensure, CPR with AED, and preferred BS in nursing. Experience in clinics or hospitals and EMR proficiency are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in an observation unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Administer medication, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options.
• Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate.
• Consult with administration and providers to decide on the best treatment plan for patients.

General Summary:The primary role of the Registered Nurse is to implement the patient care delivery model for the patient and their family. Additionally, the registered nurse is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating, the care provided to assigned patients. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.Mental / Physical Requirements:Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance. Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
