Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Observation team on a part-time day shift (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Monday–Friday with some weekends) in Leesburg, VA. The 27-bed Observation Unit handles cardiac, neurological, medical, and surgical patients in a fast-paced setting, offering growth opportunities and team-based care.

The role emphasizes rapid assessments, collaborative care, and strong time-management skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required for RN; if ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience in acute care.
• Current Virginia RN licensure or eNLC privilege to practice in Virginia.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association required on start.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data sets.
• Forms individualized care plans based on assessments and trends.
• Delivers patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
• Advocates for patients' rights and counsels families.
• Coordinates care and post-discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Documents patient care activities according to standards.
