Role:

This role requires expertise in Observability and IT to support our enablement programs, ensuring teams are fully equipped on Observability use cases. Combining technical expertise with training strategy, you will support revenue teams by developing content, training, coaching, and assessments to improve use case adoption and customer success. Join us to enhance our enablement efforts and build expertise in Observability use-case and value mapping.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with teams across Splunk and Global Field Enablement to drive results around Observability use cases.
  • Develop and lead the Observability Enablement strategy for the Splunk Field (Sales, Technical Sales, Partners, Digital Sales, and Renewals).
  • Lead cross-functional teams of Subject Matter Experts to execute the strategy.
  • Advise on and improve Observability content for programs and events.
  • Support onboarding, sales, partner, and leadership training initiatives.
  • Analyze indicators to recommend improvements in enablement results.
  • Use innovative techniques to reach a global, dispersed organization.
  • Coordinate with the global productivity team on theater-based enablement.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a customer-facing role in enterprise/SaaS software, focusing on Observability.
  • Experience with Splunk Observability products such as Splunk Observability Cloud, AppDynamics, and IT Service Intelligence.
  • Proven track record in positioning observability use cases across organizational levels.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends and competitive technologies like Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
  • Ability to enable others with domain and solution knowledge.
  • Independent work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Experience with DevSecOps.
  • Experience selling to ITOps/NOC and engineering teams, with knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, etc.
  • Portfolio of Observability, AIOps, or ITOps enablement materials.

Pay Range: $172,200 - $223,500. Salary details vary based on location, experience, and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and performance incentives.
