Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced BE/BC Ob/Gyn to join our collaborative obstetrics and gynecology team as a Weekend Laborist.

This 0.5 FTE weekend position offers on-call labor floor coverage with opportunities to perform deliveries, D&Cs, repeat C-sections, and IUIs, supported by 24-hour pediatric and anesthesia coverage and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of post-training Ob/Gyn experience.
• Collaborative, communicative physician with sound judgment, warmth, and commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the labor floor while on call.
• Perform deliveries, circumcisions, D&Cs, repeat C-sections, and IUIs.
• Provide medical floor and Emergency Department consult coverage.
