Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Manager of Ultrasound Services to lead operations across Women’s Health and OBGYN. You will supervise Ultrasound Technologists, maintain image quality, and liaise with physicians, operations, and staff to ensure timely services within budgetary guidelines.

The role requires a RDMS with OBGYN specialization, a Bachelor's degree, and 7+ years in ultrasound with 3+ years in supervision. Expect collaboration with corporate teams to meet accreditation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• 7+ years of ultrasound (sonography) experience; women’s health ultrasound preferred.
• RDMS certification with OBGYN specialization is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, oversees Ultrasound services at multiple locations.
• Manages team of Ultrasound Technologists (Sonographers) across locations.
• Maintains accreditation and ensures regulatory compliance (JCH, Florida DOH, AIUM).
• Coordinates ultrasound schedules with supervisors and practice managers.
• Provides budgets, performance summaries, and operating metrics.
• Ensures protocols and documentation are up to date and evidence-based.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to implement new technologies.
• Oversees hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions for staff.
