Job summary

OhioHealth Mansfield OBGYN is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams across OB/GYN patients. The role requires 1 day per week with potential to cover more days and travel to Lexington and Shelby offices. The technologist will interpret results with the radiologist and discuss findings with the team.

Minimum qualifications include ARDMS/RDMS/ARRT certifications, 1–2 years of ultrasound experience, and BLS. High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED as minimum education.
• 1–2 years ultrasound training from an accredited program.
• ARDMS certification including abdominal/OB-GYN and physics/instrumentation.
• RDMS certification and ARRT certification aligned with ultrasound practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations (60%).
• Independently evaluate normal vs abnormal results with patient history and prior tests.
• Provide preliminary ultrasound results to physicians and residents.
• Educate imaging students and residents on scanning methods.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies; perform quality control.
