Job summary

BJC Medical Group, a multispecialty physician organization, seeks a Registered Diagnostic Sonographer for PRN shifts to cover Shiloh, Alton, and some Missouri locations. The role includes abdomen, small parts, obstetrical imaging, and possible needle procedures for diagnosis and treatment.

RDMS or equivalent and RDCS or equivalent credentials are preferred, along with CPR certification. The candidate may work independently, with on-call duties as needed, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or trade school equivalency.
• Licenses/certifications: RDMS or equivalent; RDCS or equivalent; CPR certification.
• Experience: No experience required or implied by PRN posting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
