Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts at our Foley, AL location. The role centers on patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality care per orders and protocols.

The RN will assess patients, administer medications, respond to emergencies, educate families, and uphold infection control and safety standards while maintaining compassionate patient support.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN license required for state licensure or compact licensure.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Strong nursing process knowledge and patient assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan and evaluate care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code teams.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
