Position Overview

Optum NV is seeking an accomplished OB/GYN Physician for our OB/GYN division located in Las Vegas, NV. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will provide comprehensive women’s health services, including office care, deliveries, and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care for women’s health issues.
2. Maintain professionalism, adhere to ethical principles, and demonstrate sensitivity to a diverse patient population.
3. Engage in systems-based practice by utilizing healthcare system resources effectively.
4. Maintain regular office hours, support practice with primary and backup calls, including weekends and holidays.
5. Participate in departmental meetings and committees, assist with recruitment, and promote community involvement.

Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday office schedule with no clinic on call days.
• Hospital call is off-site, shared equally among physicians.
• Full scope GYN practice with major/minor procedure days.
• Access to GYN-Oncology, Perinatology, and NICU specialists.
• Monthly collegial group meetings.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of Obstetrics/Gynecology residency program.
• Medical license in Nevada or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• DEA license or ability to obtain one prior to employment.

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range for Nevada residents: $278,500 - $484,500, based on experience and certifications.
• Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, stock options, CME allowance, professional liability insurance, PTO, and a 401K plan with employer contributions.
