Intermountain Health in Thornton, CO is seeking an OB/GYN to join a collaborative, well-supported team dedicated to outstanding patient care. You’ll join Amber Creek Clinic and cover deliveries, surgeries, and calls at Platte Valley Hospital.

The practice features a Level II NICU, a thriving L&D unit, and 24/7 in-house anesthesia, with a strong focus on patient experience and woman’s health in a broad network.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME residency in OBGYN completed or in process.
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN.
• Active Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one.
• DEA registration to practice medicine in the US.

Responsibilities

• Join an established OB/GYN practice at Amber Creek Clinic in Thornton, CO.
• Provide deliveries, surgeries, and call coverage at Platte Valley Hospital.
• Support Level II NICU, robust L&D, and 24/7 in-house anesthesia.
• Be part of Intermountain Health’s women’s health network across six states.
• Participate in onsite MFM two days per week with 24/7 consults.

About this role:

As an OB/GYN with Intermountain Health, you'll join a collaborative, well-supported team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and an outstanding patient experience.

• You’ll join an established OB/GYN practice at Amber Creek Clinic, located in Thornton, Colorado.

• All deliveries, surgeries, and call at nearby Platte Valley Hospital

• Level II NICU, thriving L&D unit, and 24/7 in-house anesthesia

• Baby-Friendly designated hospital and recognized by the Women’s Choice Awards for Obstetrics and Emergency Care

• Onsite MFM two days per week with 24/7 consult availability

• You’ll be part of Intermountain Health’s large, dynamic women’s health network, which includes OB/GYNs, maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncologists, urogynecologists, MIGS, certified nurse midwives, APPs, pelvic floor physical therapists, and more, across six states in the mountain west.

Schedule & Call

• Flexible scheduling & desired OB:GYN ratio within practice needs

• Call shared with OB/GYNs and full-time obstetric hospitalists, averages to six 12-hour restricted shifts per month

• Protected post-call time-no clinic required after overnight call

How we’ll support you:

• Guaranteed base salary: $369,000

• Annual quality bonus: $12,500

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN

• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN

• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• Federal DEA Registration

• BLS certification

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
