Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess MD/DO with NM medical license.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new patients to assess symptoms and needs.
• Perform routine exams and checkups per best practices.
• Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth.
• Participate in call rotation (1:3, 24-hour shifts).
• Oversee physician/patient relationships and contribute to system-wide health initiatives.

Practice Highlights:

• Opportunity to practice rural OB/GYN
• Call is 1:3, with 24 hour shifts
• 10-20 deliveries per month

Responsibilities:

• Meet with new patients to assess symptoms, needs, and/or problems
• Perform routine exams and check ups based on best practices
• Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition
• Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth
• Participate in call rotation
• Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
• Manages and oversees the physician/patient relationship.
• Participates in system-wide health management initiatives.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.

Additional Job Description:

MD/DO Board-eligible or certified in OB/GYN with State of New Mexico Medical License.
