Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Graduate from accredited Physician Assistant program by NCCPA.
• Licensed as a PA in Texas (PA-C) and board-certified.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely patient care between health care providers under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with inter-professional health care team to manage patient care.
• Respond to patient questions and issues in a timely manner per clinical triage.
• Maintain accurate medical records including diagnosis and CPT coding.
• Participate in rounds and serve as a clinical resource and preceptor when appropriate.
