Job summary

Fusion Health in Oregon is seeking an obstetrician-gynecologist for a locum tenens position starting January 1, 2027, covering inpatient and outpatient clinics with on-call duties. Qualifications

• Current Oregon medical license and DEA registration.
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience with Level I OB ultrasound and NST interpretation.
• Proficient in performing vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Credentialing: CV and past 24 months case logs for OB/GYN privileges, ~90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN settings with on-call duties.
• Provide low-risk OB care, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections as needed.
• Interpret fetal monitoring and perform Level I OB ultrasound.
• Coordinate with RNs and MAs; document in Epic EMR.
• Manage ~8 call shifts per month with flexible scheduling.

Highlights

• Clinic: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; ~15 patient encounters/day
• Call: Weeknight beeper and 24-hr weekend beeper; ~8 call shifts/month (may be split if 2 providers; not necessarily consecutive)
• The 8 shifts of call will be sporadic so may not be back to back.
• Call shift times: 24-hr call 7:00 a.m.-7:00 a.m.; weeknight call 5:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
• Expected deliveries on 24-hr call: ~0-2 (some shifts may have none)
• OB skills:
• Required: Low-risk OB; FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE); OB ultrasound Level I/screening; routine vaginal delivery incl. low forceps; decision‑making for C-section; complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions); repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
• Preferred: High‑risk OB
• Support staff: 2 RNs, 4 MAs
