Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in Colorado with 400 clock hours of supervised clinical experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments and minor procedures in the OBGYN setting.
• Administer medications (including narcotics) per orders and ensure safe delivery.
• Monitor patient condition, document data and report changes to the care team.
• Provide patient and family education on post-procedure care and medication use.
• Maintain sterile technique, asepsis and infection control standards.
