Job summary

Women\'s Health Group, affiliated with UNC Health Blue Ridge, seeks an OBGYN Hospitalist to join our Western North Carolina team in Morganton. The role offers 5–6 call shifts per month (8am–8am) and supports maternity care across three counties.

You will perform 5–7 minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries weekly, with a robot arriving in 2027, and will work with a Level II nursery and 24/7 neonatology, EM, and anesthesia staff on site.

Qualifications

• Physician with obstetrics and gynecology training joining a hospitalist group.
• Experience or interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (hysterectomies, tubal ligations, urinary incontinence procedures).

Responsibilities

• Provide OBGYN hospitalist coverage with 5–6 call shifts per month (8am–8am).
• Perform 5–7 surgeries per week; robot expected in 2027.
• Support Level II Nursery with 24/7 Neonatology, EM, and Anesthesia coverage.
