Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist to lead labor and delivery services across Highland Park and Evanston Hospitals. This is a full-time position with a mix of day and night 12- to 13-hour shifts and flexible opportunities within 1.0 FTE.

You will supervise care for laboring patients, perform cesarean sections and collaborate with OB/GYN colleagues to deliver evidence-based obstetric care while advancing quality and safety within our integrated system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with successful residency in OB/GYN.
• Board certification or eligible status in OB/GYN is required.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Fellowship trained or 2+ years of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversee unit activities in labor & delivery.
• Supervise clinical care for unassigned patients in labor and delivery including cesarean sections.
• Deliver high-quality evidence-based obstetric care.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN colleagues, MFMs, CNMs, nurses and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Position : Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist

Location: Primary location: Highland Park and Evanston Hospitals

Full-Time/Part- Time 1.0 FTE position will be expected to work a combination of 13, 12-hour day and night shifts throughout the month with flexible opportunities in FTE status.

Pay Range: $ 264,279 - $ 463,588 - As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE.

Endeavor Health's Women's Service Line has many distinguished faculty and attending physicians and continues to focus on growth. Physicians will be at the forefront of shaping and molding a cutting-edge OB Hospitalist program with an Obstetric Emergency Department while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Provide overall leadership and oversight for all activities on the unit, working in collaboration with nurses and staff to effectively deploy resources and manage patients.
• Supervise all clinical care for unassigned patients in labor & delivery, including cesarean sections, spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, antenatal and postpartum care.
• Deliver high quality evidence based obstetric care.
• Work collaboratively with all other OB/GYN colleagues, MFMs, CNMs nurses and staff.
• Work with service line leaders toward continuous improvement by participating in and leading quality improvement initiatives, helping educate staff, and guiding patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Level

• Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school and successful completion of OBGYN Residency required.

Minimum Licensure Requirements

• Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.

Minimum Certification Requirements

• Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise.

Minimum Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or Fellowship trained.
