Position Overview

At LVHN, you can make a difference. For nearly 100 years, LVHN has operated independent residency programs in the Lehigh Valley area, aiming to develop future leaders, clinicians, and academicians. We offer an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and recently established a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship. As a regional clinical campus of the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine, and an accredited member of the nation's Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems, we are committed to excellence in education and patient care.

The practice includes general ob/gyn physicians, advanced practice clinicians, certified nurse midwives, and ob/gyn hospitalists providing comprehensive women's healthcare in the Pocono region. The Pocono campus handles approximately 750 births annually and is one of five maternal-newborn hospital sites for LVHN, supported by a robust interdisciplinary team utilizing evidence-based practices. Maternal-fetal medicine consultations are available, and transports are accepted to our tertiary care facility in Allentown, PA. The hospital features a Level III NICU and access to pediatric specialists at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital. Located in the scenic Pocono mountains, LVHN-Pocono offers a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, with convenient access to northern New Jersey and New York City.

• Well-woman visits (pelvic exam and Pap test)

• Access to over 30 service sites across 11 counties, serving women's preventive, gynecologic, and obstetric needs.
• Five Family Birth and Newborn Centers providing maternity care throughout the region.
• Gynecologic surgical care at various locations, utilizing traditional and minimally invasive techniques.
• Flexible practice settings, including intimate clinics, busy practices, community-based programs, and academic hospitals.
• Collaboration with a dedicated team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse midwives.
• Opportunities to teach and train students and residents at select locations.
