Job summary

Santiam Hospital & Clinics in Stayton, OR is seeking a registered nurse for OB-focused care. You will perform obstetric intakes, triage calls, coordinate referrals, and support perioperative and postpartum processes in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license to practice in Oregon.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS.
• ACLS and NRP required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• OB patient intakes and medical screening.
• Triage phone calls and call backs.
• Coordinate outgoing referrals, imaging and follow up as needed.
• Result calls and counseling for patients.
• Surgery counseling; pre- and post-op follow up.
• Induction and cesarean scheduling and counseling.
• Birth center coordination and lactation support.
• Postpartum follow-up calls and triage.
• Non-stress testing in the office.
• Assist with in-office procedures prep and post care.
• Expand clinic services with in-office procedures.

Job Details: Job Location: STAYTON, OR 97383 Education Level: License Salary Range: $42.00 - $59.88 Hourly Job Shift: Day

Position Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 pm

What You'll Do

• OB patient intakes and medical screening
• Triage phone calls and call backs
• Coordinate outgoing referrals, imaging and follow up as needed
• Result call backs and counseling
• Surgery counseling, pre- and post-op follow up
• Induction and c-section scheduling and counseling
• Coordination with birth center-Childbirth education, lactation support, etc. for integrative patient care
• Postpartum phone call follow-up/triage/assessment
• Non-stress testing in the office
• Assist with coordinating, prepping, and post care for in office procedures
• Expanding clinic services - more in office procedures, LEEP hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, etc.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Provider Level BLS
• ACLS and NRP required within six months of hire
