Hiring a Medical Assistant to join an OBGYN clinic

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our OBGYN Float team, working in both New Rochelle and Purchase locations! (very close to each other)

This role involves assisting with various patient care tasks and administrative duties to ensure efficient operation of the medical practice.

Responsibilities
  • Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations
  • Providing patient education and answering questions
  • Managing phone calls and patient inquiries
  • Handling scans and documentation
  • Verifying medications
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Processing prior authorizations
Essential Skills
  • Experience with electronic health records
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to perform triage
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Reliable transportation
  • Medical Assistant Diploma
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • EPIC experience preferred

Work Environment

The role operates within an OBGYN setting, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (no weekends).

The workplace is equipped with modern medical technology and electronic health records systems. Professional attire is expected to maintain a high standard of patient care and practice management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
