Job summary

Ascension's Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to support the OBGyn department. You’ll prepare exam rooms, take vital signs, and help ensure a smooth patient flow during day shifts.

Requirements include BLS certification within 30 days and CMA credentials or equivalent, plus a High School diploma or equivalent. Experience with CMA preferred; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification to be obtained within 1 month of hire.
• CMA/related credential within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical flow by preparing exam rooms and prioritizing patient transitions.
• Capture patient stories by measuring vitals and interviewing patients.
• Transcribe diagnoses, orders and follow-up instructions into the patient record.
• Manage essential supplies to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
