Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in Jacksonville, FL. This field-based role acts as the primary scientific resource for OLs, PHDMs and healthcare providers, executing Amgen Medical function and product strategy to improve patient outcomes.

You will engage with investigators, communicate data, support sponsored research where applicable, and collaborate across Amgen field teams to advance access and education for obesity therapies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree
• Or Masters degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience
• Or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders (OLs), Population Health Decision Makers (PHDMs) and other healthcare providers and execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites in support of the obesity pipeline.
• Engage with PHDMs within assigned IDNs and other institutions to communicate scientific data of clinical value, outcomes, and economic data.
• Provide and present field observations to internal stakeholders to inform Amgen strategies.
• Lead and/or participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics.

Education

Doctorate degree

Masters degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelors degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
