About the Role

We are seeking obesity medicine physicians to provide longitudinal telehealth obesity medicine and medical weight management care, to collaborate with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians toward exceptional team-based care. Work is remote with flexible schedules, but we are looking for providers who can commit to a full-time schedule seeing patients across a 5-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Provide longitudinal telehealth obesity medicine and medical weight management care.
• Collaborate with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians to deliver team-based care.
• Engage with patients using telemedicine and digital tools to support ongoing treatment and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Have an MD or DO degree
• Board Certified in Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
• Have 2+ years of obesity medicine/medical weight management experience
• Ideally licensed to practice and prescribe in North Carolina, and credentialed with insurance payers in one or more of the following states: IL, TX, MA, CA, KS, NJ, WA and/or NY (strong preference for multiple state licenses)
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
• Committed to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management
• Experience conducting telemedicine visits and a strong "web-side" manner
• Experience working collaboratively with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
• Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
