MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME, seeks a board certified/eligible Obesity Medicine Physician to join the Family Medicine and Weight Management practice serving our coastal Maine communities.

The successful candidate will work in a collegial atmosphere with supportive staff and seasoned providers, with comprehensive resources and an advanced Epic EMR system to support patient care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Board Certification/Eligibility.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives and quality incentives.

Job description

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital is seeking a board certified/eligible Obesity Medicine Physician. The successful candidate will join the Family Medicine and Weight Management practice serving our Coastal Maine communities. Candidates will work in a very collegial atmosphere working alongside great support staff and seasoned providers. The annual base salary for this position is $275,000.
