Job summary

Women & Infants Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform Level 1 ultrasound studies (growth and Doppler) with preferred Level 2 obstetrical scans and NT certification. The role includes covering offsite locations and maintaining proficiency with ultrasound equipment, with primary duties at Providence.

Training plan for Level 2/NT if not initially certified will be provided within six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one- or two-year program or certified training course and certification examination.
• ARDMS registry and OB-GYN certification required.
• NT certification preferred; if not initially certified, competency must be demonstrated within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and assessments.
• Maintain work stations and equipment and ensure patient identification.
• Coordinate quality assurance and equipment maintenance; assist in interpretation with MFM physicians.
• Greet patients and manage supplies; support offsite location coverage with advance notice.
• Protect patient confidentiality and participate in ongoing professional growth.
