Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies with sound judgment and clinical acumen. You will assist radiologists and staff physicians in interpreting studies and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires ARDMS registry, completion of a 1-2 year program, and proficiency in English. On-the-job training for new equipment and techniques is provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 1- or 2-year program or certified training course, followed by certification examination.
• ARDMS registry required.
• Proficiency in English.

• Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
• Maintains workstations and equipment.
• Greets patients and confirms patient identification.
• Assists in the ordering of supplies.
