Qualifications

• Direct patient care using the nursing process under RN supervision.
• Review diagnostic tests and report abnormalities to the RN/physician promptly.
• Collaborate with RN on patient plans and discharge education.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Reviews diagnostic test results and reports abnormal results and changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse, physician and appropriate healthcare team members in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with the Registered Nurse on the execution of patient plans.
• Assists with patient education and discharge planning under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Evaluates and maintains the patient care environment to promote safety.
